Stay on trend: Dress like a man

by on October 6, 2010

Word on the grapevine is that one of the strongest looks and biggest trends this autumn/winter will be masculine dressing so for the latest cutting edge look tuck a buttoned up shirt into smart trousers and do not worry about accessorising. This could be the easiest trend we’ve come across yet, check out our Bellybutton Felicitas Trousers or our Bellybutton Kelly Trousers. If you don’t fancy donning male influenced trousers then combine a skirt with a shirt and blazer to make the look that bit more feminine. We also have a Noppies Maternity Shirt and Bellybutton Ziara Skirt that are great additions to make this look successful. When choosing your masculine inspired outfit go for neutral colours (black, beige or grey) and stay away from bold colours. A blazer can update any outfit and it was around this time last year when blazer’s were everywhere on the high street and being worn for all kind of occasions: work, evening wear, casual wear and even for trips to the shops and we are pleased to say blazer’s are just on trend this autumn/winter as they were the last. Check out our Bellybutton Maternity Blazer to finish off your outfit in style. All garments are designed to fit and flatter your curves so despite the style being masculine you can still show off your feminine curves and bump.

If a blazer isn’t your thing then choose a trench to wear over your masculine outfit for an effortless and warm style!
